Executive Director

Part - Time | Salary: $15,000-$20,000

Under the direction and guidance of the Board of Directors, the person in this position is responsible for the planning, organizing, staffing, motivating, directing, and management of a clinic ministry providing free primary care to uninsured low income residents through the love of Jesus Christ.

Qualified candidates will have knowledge of administrative and management principles necessary, ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, knowledge of budgeting principles, personnel procedures, program development, strategic planning and program evaluation. He/she will also have ability to function as the chief administrative officer of a non-profit corporation under the supervision of a governing board and knowledge of supervisory techniques and staff development. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate knowledge of successful fundraising and development.

Candidates must be a mature believer and an active member of a Christian church. PCMM is first and foremost a ministry. The Executive Director is responsible to ensure that all volunteers and employees adhere to the spiritual and religious policies of the organization and parent organization, South Putnam Church.

The Executive Director works alongside the Clinic Coordinator and communicates regularly with the Board of Directors through written reports, attendance at Board meetings, participation in Board activities and contact with individual Board members. He/she has primary responsibility for communication with the Board regarding the current status of services being offered and the development of new programs.

As the administrative leader of the organization, he/she has primary responsibility for assuring that administrative functions are accomplished through a defined administrative structure. The person in this position serves as the leader of the administrative team and provides the direction and supervision necessary for other administrative personnel to accomplish their assigned duties.

The Executive Director is evaluated annually by the President of the Board.

Essential Job Functions.

Subject to the approval of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director:

· Provide direction, training and supervision to all staff/volunteers alongside the Clinic Coordinator.

· Maintains system of fiscal accountability.
· Maintains management systems and personnel policies.
· Oversight of program development including responsible budgeting and staffing for all programs.
· Oversight of fund raising, public relations and community involvement, including but not limited to grants, annual banquet, association participation.
· Maintaining and growing list of community contacts, focusing on those networks appropriate to the organization's focus of service.
· Maintains political awareness and connections within the context in which the organization does business, including but not limited to, the website and social media.
· Continually evaluates and responds positively to the ongoing needs of the organization.

· Above all, along with the Board of Director’s, ensure that the mission of the organization and spiritual integrity remain intact.
